T4Y Team Spotlight: Tara

The Truth for Youth Team is made up of over thirty dedicated members, who all believe in the restoration of the unity and sanctity of our human identities. One of those members is Tara Thomas. Serving on as many of the retreats as she can,  Tara uses her talents and gifts to let the youth of our community know that they are loved and that they have value. 
 
In a world where society falsifies our identities, Tara is dedicated to sharing her story and her struggles with those who think they are alone.

"It's something that I love doing, because we go to these middle schoolers who have been through a lot and we get to be with them, sharing the truth. This includes truth about our individuality, what healthy relationships look like, and the meaning and purpose of sexual integrity. All three things were confusing topics for me in middle school."

Tara's ability to relate has been a gift over the past several months and we are very lucky to have her enthusiasm on the team!
